Head of Product Development & Innovation (Furniture)

ArchBat HR is seeking a Head of Product Development & Innovation (Furniture) for a Leading interior and furniture design firm to be based in their Dubai Headquarters.

Responsibilities:

Strategic vs. Operational Focus:

• The Head of Product Development & Innovationwill focus on high-level product strategy, market alignment, and innovation. This includes driving product concepts based on competitive research, client feedback, and long-term goals.
• The Head of Product Development & Innovationwill emphasize market fit, innovation, and manufacturability to ensure new products are viable for production and meet market demands.

• The Head of Product Development & Innovationwill lead scalability efforts and manufacturing considerations, working closely with industrialization teams to prepare products for broader production.

Required profile

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of 15 years in furniture design and product development, ideally in a large European or British furniture manufacturing company, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
• Product Development Expertise: Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in product development, including familiarity with materials, production processes, and sustainability practices.
