Head of Operations – Valet Parking & Car Park
Position: Head Of Operations
Reports to: General Manager
Qualifications
Minimum Bachelor degree required
Master's in Business Administration preferred
Experience
At least 10 years of experience in parking management or a related technology-based industry.
Proven track record in successfully managing an operations team.
Skills
Familiarity with UAE Laws regarding Parking legislation
Delegation skills
Succession planning skills
Good English communication skills
Full computer literacy in Microsoft Office
A positive attitude
Negotiation skills

Primary Functions
Deliver an excellent service to all clients on time, on budget and to specification.
Deliver exemplary standards of client services at all times. Seek out opportunities to further enhance current, and prospective, client experience.
Be responsible for the Operations function ensuring that all systems and processes adhere to best practice levels and are correctly aligned within operations, with other internal departments.
Lead all Operations departments, for car park, valet parking, and related support services.
Mastermind the delivery of new contracted facilities.
Contribute to the development of operations strategy. Working with individual Heads of Department to develop, evolve and enhance ZONE's Operational delivery.
Create a high performing operations team and foster talent management. In particular identify high potential individuals for succession planning, ensuring appropriate development plans are in place.
Ensure all team members have clear measurable objectives and structured performance reviews, 1 to 1s and team meetings.
Undertake rigorous financial control, setting departmental opex and capex budgets and managing P&Ls.
Develop, propose and implement strategies for change which will drive improved service and more effective control of costs.
Act as Incident Manager in Business Continuity Planning and be responsible for managing crisis preparedness.
Oversee valet parking operations, identify areas for improvement, minimize vehicle incidents, and strive for service excellence.
Participate as required in internal management forums.
