Job Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing and e-commerce strategies to drive brand growth, customer engagement, and market share.
- Define KPIs and performance metrics for the marketing and e-commerce teams, aligning them with business objectives and revenue targets.
- Collaborate with senior management on overall business strategy and adapt marketing initiatives to reflect changes in market trends and consumer behavior.
- Produce in-house creatives for our retail and food service marketing requirements
- Create innovative strategies to present our product on shelf, e-commerce and POS
- Lead the full process for packaging design, labelling and branding
- Support in product development and align with Product Managers throughout the product life-cycle.
- To be the company main point of contact for all marketing activities and requirements.
Brand Management & Campaign Development:
- Lead the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns, focusing on brand positioning, product launches, and seasonal promotions.
- Conduct research to introduce new products and effectively promote existing ones across multiple platforms.
- Work with the design and e-commerce teams to create compelling, consistent brand messaging across all touchpoints, including social media, website, and email marketing.
- Collaborate with designer and creatives to bring brand stories to life, enhancing visual identity and brand loyalty.
E-commerce Management
- Drive the e-commerce strategy, optimizing the customer journey from awareness to conversion, and enhancing user experience on all digital platforms.
- Oversee the selection, implementation, and performance analysis of e-commerce tools and technologies.
- Work with the e-commerce team to track key metrics, such as website traffic, OJUJ branding and promoting cost, making data-driven adjustments to boost performance.
- Oversee all e-commerce platforms, focusing on development, enhancement, and continuous improvement.
Team Leadership and Development
- Manage and mentor the marketing, e-commerce, and graphic design teams, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and high performance.
- Set clear goals, provide regular feedback, and support professional development to help team members grow in their roles.
Collaboration with Designers and Creatives
- Act as the primary point of contact between the marketing team and external or internal designers, ensuring projects align with brand standards and business goals.
- Guide creative projects from concept to execution, ensuring quality, consistency, and brand adherence in all materials.
- Coordinate feedback loops between designers, stakeholders, and product teams, ensuring efficient workflows and timely completion of deliverables.
Market and Competitor Analysis
- Conduct regular market research to stay informed of industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
- Identify new growth opportunities in the FMCG and e-commerce space, proposing innovative ideas to stay competitive.
- Act as an advisor to top management on necessary changes, proactively driving initiatives to enhance business growth and development.
Budgeting and Financial Management
- Develop and manage budgets for marketing and e-commerce initiatives, optimizing resources for maximum ROI.
- Track and analyze spending across channels to ensure budget alignment with overall business goals.
Experience:
- 10 years in marketing and e-commerce, with at least 4 years in a leadership role, preferably in the food or FMCG industry.
Qualification and Skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, E-commerce, or a related field.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing successful marketing and e-commerce strategies.
- Strong understanding of the food marketing industry, consumer behavior, and market trends.
- Proficiency in e-commerce platforms, digital marketing tools, and analytics platform's
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with designer and e-commerce marketing team, providing clear direction while encouraging creativity.
