Job Purpose:

The Head of Marketing & Corporate Communications at Zand Bank is responsible for driving the bank's marketing strategy, enhancing brand visibility, and strengthening its corporate reputation in the digital finance space. This role leads marketing and communications teams, overseeing product marketing, thought leadership initiatives, and brand management, while ensuring alignment with the bank's vision. This role will also manage performance metrics, stakeholder engagement, and budget optimization to support Zand Bank's growth and position it as a leader in the financial sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Marketing Strategies: Lead the creation and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and business growth across multiple channels.
  • Oversee Corporate Communications & Thought Leadership: Manage internal and external communications, ensuring consistent messaging that aligns with company values, vision, and objectives. Promote the company’s expertise and position key executives as thought leaders in the industry through media outreach, speaking engagements, and high-profile content.
  • Brand Management: Ensure the brand identity is consistently represented across all marketing materials, campaigns, and communications, while enhancing brand positioning and equity.
  • Lead Marketing Team: Manage and mentor a team of marketing and communications professionals, ensuring effective collaboration, skill development, and performance in delivering marketing initiatives.
  • Monitor Marketing Campaign Performance: Analyze and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, utilizing metrics and KPIs to continuously optimize performance and drive ROI.
  • Product Marketing: Oversee the marketing of new and existing products, developing go-to-market strategies, positioning, and messaging to drive product adoption and sales.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior executives, media, partners, and customers, to enhance corporate reputation and influence.
  • Budget and Resource Management: Manage the marketing and communications budget, allocating resources effectively across various campaigns, ensuring efficient use of funds, and achieving financial objectives.

  • Strategic Marketing & Brand Management: Expertise in developing and executing marketing strategies that enhance brand positioning, drive growth, and support the bank's overall business objectives in the financial sector.
  • Corporate Communications & Thought Leadership: Strong ability to manage internal and external communications, promote the bank's thought leadership, and elevate its presence in the market through media engagement and executive visibility.
  • Product Marketing & Go-To-Market Strategies: Proficient in crafting and executing product marketing strategies, ensuring effective product positioning and messaging to drive customer adoption and support the bank’s offerings.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Relationship Management: Skilled in building and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders, including senior executives, media, and strategic partners, to enhance the bank’s reputation and influence within the industry.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience across marketing, with an increasing scope of responsibilities & a successful track record of developing and executing marketing strategies. Banking experience highly desirable.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience leading the marketing and digital functions in high-growth organizations.
  • Extensive experience deploying strategies globally with strong knowledge of regional communication norms and nuances.
  • Strong commercial and creative mindset, with the ability to identify and implement innovative marketing strategies.
