Job Description: Head of Marketing - Ridesharing Company
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Head of Marketing to lead all aspects of our marketing strategy and execution. This senior role requires a well-rounded marketing leader who excels in performance marketing, out-of-home (OOH) advertising, brand development, and integrated campaigns that drive growth and engagement at scale.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy and Leadership
- Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with business goals and accelerates growth for both riders and drivers.
- Own the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources across channels to maximize ROI and brand impact.
- Lead and inspire a high-performing marketing team, fostering collaboration and a culture of creativity and accountability.
- Collaborate with the executive team and cross-functional leaders to integrate marketing strategies with broader business objectives.
Performance Marketing
- Oversee digital acquisition strategies, including paid search, paid social, display advertising, programmatic, and app marketing.
- Optimize campaigns through data-driven analysis, A/B testing, and continuous performance monitoring.
- Work closely with analytics teams to track key metrics, attribute performance, and forecast growth opportunities.
Brand Development and Storytelling
- Shape and evolve the brand narrative to build trust, loyalty, and awareness among target audiences.
- Design and execute impactful campaigns that position the firm as a leader in urban mobility.
- Develop content strategies that resonate across digital, social, and traditional media channels.
Out-of-Home (OOH) and Offline Marketing
- Lead OOH campaigns, from concept to execution, to increase visibility and drive top-of-funnel growth in key markets.
- Partner with local teams to develop hyper-localized campaigns that connect with diverse communities.
- Leverage offline activations, partnerships, and sponsorships to enhance brand reach and user engagement.
Customer Insights and Market Analysis
- Utilize market research, customer insights, and competitive analysis to refine marketing strategies and identify opportunities for differentiation.
- Monitor rider and driver feedback to continuously improve campaign relevance and effectiveness.
Partnerships and PR
- Work closely with external agencies and partners to amplify marketing efforts and ensure alignment with brand goals.
- Partner with PR teams to manage public communications, crisis response, and media relations.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (MBA or equivalent preferred).
- 8+ years of experience in marketing, with a proven track record of leading diverse marketing functions, including performance marketing, brand strategy, and OOH campaigns.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and drive actionable insights.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with experience building and mentoring high-performing teams.
- Deep understanding of digital advertising platforms, tools, and attribution models.
- Creative thinker with a customer-first approach and a passion for storytelling.
- Experience in high-growth industries (e.g., ridesharing, e-commerce, technology) is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across all levels of the organization.
