Job description

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Head of Marketing to lead our marketing team and drive the strategic direction of our brand. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that enhance our market presence, drive user acquisition, and engage our audience. This role requires a creative leader with a strong understanding of digital marketing, brand management, and data-driven decision-making. Prior experience in marketing leadership in a tech scale-up is a big advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and implement the overall marketing strategy to align with the business goals.
  • Lead the marketing team in creating and executing integrated marketing campaigns that drive user acquisition, engagement, and retention.
  • Oversee the development of branding initiatives to strengthen the company’s position in the Middle East.

Digital Marketing:

  • Drive digital marketing efforts, including SEO, SEM, content marketing, email marketing, and social media campaigns.
  • Utilize data and analytics to optimize marketing performance and make informed decisions.
  • Ensure a consistent and compelling online presence across all digital channels.

Brand Management:

  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all marketing materials.
  • Develop and manage PR and communication strategies to enhance brand visibility and reputation.
  • Collaborate with product and sales teams to ensure brand alignment in all external communications.

Customer Insights & Market Research:

  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Leverage customer insights to inform marketing strategies and improve user experience.
  • Identify and capitalize on new opportunities to drive growth and market expansion.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing team.
  • Foster a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous learning within the team.
  • Set clear objectives and key results (OKRs) for the marketing team and monitor performance against targets.

Budget Management:

  • Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI.
  • Track and report on marketing spend and campaign effectiveness.

Skills

  • Proven experience in a marketing role, preferably in the technology or online services industry.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, branding, and market research.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful marketing strategies.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze and interpret marketing metrics.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; a master’s degree is a plus.
