We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced senior lawyer as Head of Legal to lead the organization's legal department and provide strategic legal guidance to the organization. The ideal candidate will be an Emirati with a strong background in corporate law, commercial contracts, litigation management, and regulatory compliance. This is a key leadership role responsible for safeguarding the legal interests of the company and ensuring compliance with local and international laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage the legal department, ensuring the provision of high-quality legal services to all business units.
2. Provide legal advice on a wide range of corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters.
3. Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts, agreements, MOUs, and policies.
4. Oversee litigation processes, working closely with external law firms to manage legal risks and outcomes.
5. Ensure compliance with regional laws and regulations, including corporate governance frameworks.
6. Handle mergers, acquisitions, company formations, and liquidations in alignment with regulatory requirements.
7. Advise the senior management team on legal risks, compliance issues, and corporate governance practices.
8. Develop and implement legal strategies to protect the company's interests and support business growth.
9. Represent the organization in legal proceedings, arbitration, and negotiations.

Key Requirements:

1. Must be an Emirati.
2. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law from a recognized university.
3. Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in legal practice, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
4. Strong knowledge of regional laws, regulations, and corporate governance frameworks.
5. Experience in drafting and reviewing complex legal documents and agreements.
6. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
7. Proven ability to manage legal risks and provide strategic legal advice to senior stakeholders.
8. Strong leadership and team management skills.
