Our Client

Rutherford is partnered with a global private credit firm that is looking for a Head of Legal & Compliance in Dubai. The Lawyer will play a key part in the firm's expansion in the Middle East and work closely with the business development team. The role will report into a Global General Counsel in London.

Main Duties

Key responsibilities for this position will include, but are not limited to:

• Providing strategic business advice to senior management across legal, regulatory, and other matters.
• Leading structuring, negotiating, and executing all transactions in the area.
• Managing all stakeholders including counsel, regulators, and suppliers.
• Leading all compliance and regulatory-related matters.

Your Profile

• 10+ PQE transactional lawyer, ideally from a private credit or private equity firm.
• Strong transactional/corporate legal background.
• Open to relocating lawyers.
