Head of IT Infrastructure

Our client, an innovative government council, is seeking a UAE National for the role of Head of Infrastructure. This is a key leadership position responsible for driving the council's IT infrastructure strategy, ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency in supporting essential public services.

The Role:

• Develop and implement a strategic IT infrastructure roadmap to support digital transformation initiatives.
• Oversee networks, cloud platforms, data centres, and security infrastructure to ensure operational excellence.
• Lead and mentor a high-performing infrastructure team, fostering innovation and best practices.
• Manage vendor relationships, ensuring quality service delivery and cost efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with government regulations and drive cybersecurity best practices.

About You:

• UAE National (with family book) with a strong background in IT infrastructure management.
• 10+ years of experience in designing, implementing, and optimizing enterprise IT environments.
• Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), network security, and data centre management.
• Proven leadership skills with experience in building and managing teams.
• Strong understanding of government IT regulations and compliance.
