Head of Internal Audit

Leap29 are currently working with a relatively newly established Investment Firm based in Abu Dhabi who are looking to recruit a new Head of Internal Audit. The Firm is currently looking to focus more on Asset Management and have primarily been involved in Listed Equities, Currencies, Bonds and Securities and is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Auditor in Investments to work individually and help grow an Audit team in the future.

Languages Required:
English - Very Good
Arabic - Fluent / Excellent

Job Skills

The new Head of Internal Audit will report directly to the Audit Committee and will be expected to present confidently to the Board and work as a ‘one man show’ within Finance until the Audit department is established and subordinates are hired.

To be considered for this position you must have the following background:

1. A minimum of 7 years’ experience in Internal Audit with a background in the Investment sector
2. Bachelor Degree in relevant field essential and CIA preferred
3. Experience in Asset Management is desired or Big 4 auditing for Investment clients
4. Knowledge of UAE regulations
5. Must be Arabic or UAE National
