Head of Innovation and Special Projects

We are seeking a Head of Innovation and Special Projects to develop and execute a forward-thinking innovation strategy, driving business and technology-driven initiatives that align with long-term strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement an innovation strategy, framework, and methodologies to drive impactful initiatives.
• Lead the identification, incubation, and development of disruptive ideas, products, and services that enhance efficiency and customer experience.
• Establish a culture of innovation across all business units and create an engagement model to foster collaboration.
• Build a strong external network with innovation hubs, industry leaders, and technology partners to identify emerging trends.
• Oversee business case development, applying financial modelling (ROI, NPV, IRR) to support investment decisions.
• Lead strategic projects from ideation to execution, ensuring measurable impact on business performance.
• Engage senior leadership and cross-functional teams to embed a structured innovation process within the organization.
• Provide leadership and coaching to innovation champions across different divisions.

What We’re Looking For:

• 15+ years of experience in innovation leadership, preferably within large, complex organizations.
• Strong understanding of business operations, commercial strategies, and emerging technologies.
• Expertise in innovation frameworks, disruptive business models, and digital transformation.
• Proven ability to develop and execute strategic innovation roadmaps and pilot initiatives from concept to full-scale deployment.
• Strong analytical skills with expertise in financial modelling and business case development.
• Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, and communication skills at executive leadership levels.
• A Master’s or Bachelor's degree in Business, Innovation, Strategy, or a related field.
