The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Infrastructure Development to lead the delivery, implementation, and operation of all UAE infrastructure projects and systems across a diverse network of partners.
In this pivotal role, you will adhere to CFG's operating principles to leverage our infrastructure expertise, optimising the services we deliver within CFG's global framework and organisational strategy. You will play a key role in supporting the development and strategic delivery of critical infrastructure projects, overseeing major capital schemes to ensure the highest value, client responsiveness, sustainability, and compliance with project management schedules and regional regulations.

Your Impact
- Responsible for the delivery of projects in the UAE region including (but not limited to) the design of a new stadium and the development of a training centre. This includes overseeing projects and capital planning, managing relationships with senior internal stakeholders and third parties, ensuring projects are delivered in line with approved KPI’s and compliance with all building regulations and planning consents.
- Provide regular updates to senior CFG stakeholders on project portfolio. Giving insights, recommendations and advising on any risks - problem-solving to drive forward solutions.
- Manage relationships with supervisory personnel, partners, consultants, design professionals and contractors to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to appropriate quality standards, resolving matters such as work procedures, complaints, or other construction problems.
- Partner with CFG departmental and functional leaders to build plans, roadmaps and priorities for ID work.
- Ensure that appropriate programs and projects are created to deliver business priorities, and that programs are managed in an effective, cost-conscious, and timely way, managing all associated project costs & budgets.
- Drive and develop all projects in line with sustainable development principles and CFG targets. Set operational objectives and ensure adherence to regional and Group procedures and best practices.
- Influence and contribute to the wider CFG Infrastructure awareness and intelligence-building. Develop detailed programs to inform future development requirements in line with the business needs and strategic growth of the region.
What we are looking for
Essential
- Experienced Senior Project Management and a solid understanding of the ID & FM landscape with direct experience of implementing and managing systems.
- Proven experience of overseeing the delivery of multi-million-pound schemes including experience in partner management, contract management, budgetary, and procurement skills.
- Project lead experience for multifaceted developments.
- Experienced negotiator in contractual matters (JCT).
- People centric – both in terms of teams’ leadership and for project management, work, community, and fan-facing engagement.
- Analytical – the ability to understand needs, options, process, change and measurement.
- Innovative and inventive – to identify opportunities and ensure that the work of ID & FM is and remains solutions-driven.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and an ability to build relationships and establish credibility at the leadership team level in a multi-cultural environment.
- Excellent operational discipline, with a focus and track record of driving elevated levels of service uptime, responding to unforeseen incidents, and managing risk.
Desirable
- Worked in the construction industry.
- CDM/Prince Qualified.
- Microsoft Project and other Microsoft apps.
- CAD proficient.
- Previous experience in the Middle East would be an additional asset for the role.
- Experience of working in the sport/football sector.
