Head of Inclusion (Whole School)

We are looking to recruit an experienced Head of Inclusion to lead our Student Support Team. This is an exciting opportunity to continue to build on the strong foundations that have been implemented so far in our Student Support Department.

The ideal candidate will:

1. Have varied experience in teaching and supporting students with a range of learning needs
2. Demonstrate a strong knowledge and understanding of neurodiversity
3. Demonstrate strong leadership skills and have experience in leading in an area of inclusion, either across the Primary or Secondary phase or both
4. Have strong pastoral skills and experience in supporting students with behavioural, social, and emotional differences
5. Have experience in using standardised assessments and screening tools to identify barriers to learning
6. Have experience in supporting children's social and emotional development
7. Have experience and knowledge of the KHDA Inclusive Education Framework
8. Hold a recognised teaching degree with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
9. Hold an additional qualification in SEND
10. Have experience in supporting an EAL Department and Wellbeing Team
11. Have experience in leading across a whole school (Age 3-16)
