Job Description:

The Head of Human Resources is a strategic leader responsible for developing and executing HR strategies that align with the organization’s vision and objectives. This role oversees talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, learning and development, compliance, and organizational culture, ensuring a high-performance and inclusive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Strategic Leadership:
    1. Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies, policies, and practices aligned with organizational goals.
    2. Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on HR matters, including workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational design.
    3. Lead efforts to enhance company culture and promote diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  2. Talent Acquisition and Management:
    1. Oversee end-to-end recruitment processes to attract top talent.
    2. Implement effective onboarding programs to ensure smooth transitions for new hires.
    3. Design and drive strategies for employee retention and engagement.
  3. Performance Management and Development:
    1. Develop performance management frameworks to drive accountability and excellence.
    2. Oversee training and development initiatives to build employee capabilities and leadership pipelines.
    3. Conduct regular talent reviews and implement succession planning.
  4. Employee Engagement and Relations:
    1. Foster a positive workplace environment that encourages collaboration and innovation.
    2. Address employee concerns and grievances with sensitivity and professionalism.
    3. Design and implement employee recognition programs to boost morale.
  5. Compliance and Risk Management:
    1. Ensure compliance with labor laws, employment standards, and organizational policies.
    2. Manage HR audits and mitigate risks related to workplace practices.
    3. Oversee health, safety, and well-being initiatives.
  6. HR Operations:
    1. Lead HR analytics and reporting to measure the effectiveness of HR initiatives.
    2. Manage HR budgets and oversee payroll, benefits, and compensation strategies.
    3. Optimize HR technology solutions for efficient processes.

Qualifications and Skills

  1. Education and Experience:
    1. Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
    2. Minimum 10 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
    3. Proven experience in strategic HR planning and organizational development.
  2. Key Competencies:
    1. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
    2. In-depth knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
    3. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
    4. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
    5. Proficiency in HR software like Zoho People & Recruit.
