Head of Financial Planning, Analysis and Reporting

Job Purpose:

This role is responsible for leading the Financial & Management Reporting and partner with the business and functional teams on areas covering business performance, planning, strategy, analytics and, cost management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Timely and accurate financial & management reporting in line with market practice and internal deadlines, while ensuring alignment between financial and management reporting.
• Liaising with auditors and relevant department heads from a financial reporting standpoint.
• Financial Performance presentations and analytical insights to Board Audit Committee & Board. Board Communication on performance and KPI aspects.
• Pillar 3 reporting as stipulated by Basel III and UAE Central bank regulations.
• Accurate and timely circulation of Business MI (Daily, Weekly, Monthly) with necessary insights adding value to business (including roll up, product and client level).
• Enhancement of the quality and timeliness of Business MI and packs, while also exploring opportunities to integrate automation and self-serve capabilities of business information.
• Business Profitability analysis at product / business level.
• Regular analysis and insights to business based on key themes (e.g: cross sell, tail management, returns effectiveness, etc.).
• Ownership of Funds Transfer Pricing mechanism and Finance responsibilities as per the FTP policy.
• Yield analysis and related insights and projections at product and client level.
• Cost MI insights to business including direct and allocated cost views.
• Management of the monthly financial projections.

Key Qualifications, Experience & Skills required:

• Bachelors/ Masters in Accounts / Finance
• Professional Certification in Accounting
• 10-15 years post qualification experience in banking or finance
• Strong Commercial acumen & analytical skills
