YOUR MISSION
Coming with extensive experience in AVL field, the Head of Design & Engineering will provide strategic leadership, ensuring the alignment of design and engineering goals with the company’s business objectives. This role demands a visionary leader capable of motivating and developing multidisciplinary teams, fostering innovation.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical (AV) background, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of strategic planning and team leadership. This position requires a proactive and adaptable leader committed to driving continuous improvement and achieving excellence in design and engineering.

1. Develop and implement the strategic vision for the design and engineering teams.
2. Ensure alignment of design and development goals with business objectives.
3. Leading, motivating and developing multidisciplinary teams.
4. Recruitment, training and performance evaluation of team members.
5. Fostering a creative and collaborative work environment.
6. Promoting innovation and continuous improvement in design and development processes.
7. Identifying and implementing new technologies and methods.
8. Management of research and development projects.

1. Proven experience in AVL industry in design and engineering, project control or management in a leadership / team supervisor position.
2. Proven experience in strategic planning and execution, aligning team goals with broader business objectives.
3. Demonstrated success in leading multidisciplinary teams, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
4. Ability to create and sustain a creative and collaborative work environment, encouraging innovation and team cohesion.
5. Comprehensive knowledge of design and engineering principles, tools, and software.
6. Excellent communication skills: Ability to articulate strategic vision and goals to diverse stakeholders.
7. Strong English communication skills (verbal and written). German language is an added advantage (not a must).
