Job Summary

The Head of Department - Safety & Risk will be responsible for assisting business development activities, maintaining personal profiles and resumes, tracking existing capabilities, and strategically addressing future customer capability requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the maintenance of personal profiles and resumes, tracking existing capabilities, and strategically addressing future customer capability requirements.
• Encourage positive working relationships with external parties such as customers, suppliers, and contractors.
• May be involved in networking, negotiations, strategic alliancing, and cost savings efforts.
• Maintain pricing records reflecting the effort to complete discipline activities.
• Support proposals by developing the discipline execution strategy, estimating and reviewing costs, writing proposal content, and presenting to customers.

Business Operations

The Head of Department - Safety & Risk will participate in budgeting and manage discipline operations to the budget. They will control discipline staffing levels, organizational structure, and monitor project discipline structures.

Technical Competency

The Head of Department - Safety & Risk will own discipline technical competency and quality programs and oversee technical competency of those within the discipline.

Project Execution

The Head of Department - Safety & Risk will facilitate meeting project requirements through the use of discipline guidelines, programs, and management of the resources allocated to projects.

HSE Capability

The Head of Department - Safety & Risk will assume hands-on management and implementation of all relevant company HSE requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

A strong background in discipline work, and a competent understanding of regulations, codes, manufacturing standards, and industry standard practices is required.
