About the Role

As the Head of Defence Solutions, you will play a strategic leadership role in shaping how AI71 delivers advanced AI capabilities to defense and security sectors. You'll act as the bridge between our deep tech capabilities and the real-world needs of defense stakeholderscrafting solutions, guiding partnerships, and driving high-impact initiatives from concept to deployment.

You bring a strong background in defense technology, consulting, or systems integration, and you know how to navigate both cutting-edge R&D and mission-critical operational environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead AI71's defense-focused initiatives, aligning advanced AI capabilities with sector-specific needs.
• Identify, design, and deliver AI-based solutions for defense and national security partners.
• Act as a strategic advisor to stakeholderstranslating complex technical possibilities into actionable programs.
• Build and nurture relationships across public sector organizations, defense contractors, and government bodies.
• Collaborate with engineering and research teams to guide solution architecture and delivery.
• Own proposal development, bid strategies, and the articulation of value propositions for new engagements.
• Stay ahead of emerging technologies and industry trends relevant to defense applications.
• Ensure all solutions meet regulatory, ethical, and security requirements.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in defense consulting, systems integration, or government-focused technology solutions.
• Strong domain knowledge of defense technologies, AI/ML applications in security, and mission-critical systems.
• Proven ability to deliver complex technical projects in highly regulated environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management and strategic communication skills.
• Experience working with or within government and defense agencies is strongly preferred.
• Deep understanding of procurement processes and program lifecycles in the public sector.
• Security clearance (or eligibility) is a strong plus.
