Accountable for the profit and growth for FAB cards Dubai First P&L from revenue to credit costs (including Fraud) and direct/allocated costs.
Accountable for the end-to-end product management for FAB cards Dubai First from Audit compliance matters and complaints support.
Develops and manages strategies aimed at generating revenue through products in alignment with consumer banking strategy with a focus on whole of bank value.
Provides guidance and support to client-facing professionals and sales teams to solve complex client needs through products in conjunction with acquisitions vertical.
Leads the effort to develop and execute marketing campaigns to drive product growth ensuring collaboration with the internal marketing team in conjunction with acquisitions vertical.
Serves as a subject matter expert on enterprise level initiatives not specifically related to the assigned products. Key SPOC across FAB wide projects that need cards input.
Provides end-to-end solutions for all client segments resulting in superior customer experience.
Represents the bank in industry events/seminars/conferences in order to stay abreast of trends, client requirements, competitor intelligence, etc. to drive product innovation.
Provides training to both internal as well as external clients about the product offerings ensuring knowledge transfer to facilitate product rollout.
Performs and analyses competitive benchmarking of the products vis-à-vis competition and the market and reviews pricing of the products periodically.
Product Innovation and Development
Develops the consumer product strategies and value propositions of products in alignment with customer needs and market trends.
Oversees services/products and sub-product performance and leads development based on market trends and customer needs.
Develops and executes the product strategy to deliver consumer banking solutions to FAB's Consumer Banking customers.
Manages and enhances existing services solutions and helps develop and implement any required new product solutions with a focus on being digital first.
Identifies product regulatory and competitive opportunities and challenges and proactively develops strategies to ensure that consumer banking products are competitive.
Monitors and evaluates the evolving competitive and regulatory environments to ensure that products are competitive and meet clients' needs.
Assists in the development of a strategic and tactical roadmap to enhance the products and services offered.
Collaborates across the FAB cards team and across the group in order to identify gaps and opportunities for product improvement in order to address customer requirements.
Participates in industry seminars and customer forums in order to stay abreast of trends, customer requirements, and competitor intelligence to drive consumer product innovation.
Works in partnership with Co-Brands team to ensure efficient product expertise goes across the FAB cards team.
Vendor Management
Evaluates, negotiates, and manages external vendor contracts ensuring the provision of a cost-efficient service for FAB with the being the key rep for schemes.
Manages multiple external vendor relationships ensuring the provision of a quality service in line with FAB requirements.
Manages the ongoing SLA and customer experience and conducts review meetings ensuring the service provided is in line with agreements.
Evaluates and renegotiates vendor pricing periodically if needed to ensure FAB is provided with a quality cost-efficient service.
Works hand in hand with Magnati team to manage our cards product services.
Internal Collaboration
Maintains strong internal relations and collaborates with other products teams and heads of business to maximize cross-selling opportunities.
Develops service level targets and manages the coordination of the section with other departments to meet client service expectations.
Engages with key stakeholders including Operations, Technology, Credit, Legal, and Risk to deliver timely and effective level of client experience to our customers.
Accountable as key decision maker across the FAB cards and DF product suite.
Leads the end-to-end value chain and business partners to buy into the cards vision and strategy.
Product Rollout
Drives the commercialization of new products and launch of new products and solutions by recommending pricing, providing sales tools, and training the sales team to ensure knowledge transfer resulting in successful sales in partnership with acquisitions vertical.
Monitors product performance post rollout and resolves any product issues or sales issues to ensure continuous product improvement.
Co-brand launches development and mass migration to be led by product team in partnership with co-brand vertical with a view to move seamlessly to BAU to co-brands.
Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures
Implements departmental policies, systems, and procedures so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality and cost-effective service.
Contributes to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes, and practices while considering international leading practice improvement of business processes, cost reduction, and productivity improvement.
Manages all internal governance frameworks as key conduit for cards team.
MIS and Reports
Supervises and provides inputs in the preparation of timely and accurate sub-departmental statements and reports to meet FAB's and departmental requirements, policies, and standards.
People Management Responsibilities
Defines goals and key performance indicators for each member of the team and ensures effective implementation of the FAB performance management process.
Develops talent within the team by providing guidance and coaching to achieve the defined goals.
Empowers the team to drive growth giving continuous opportunities to step up.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or any related discipline.
Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or any related discipline is preferred.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in Finance and/or consumer banking products with at least 3 years in a similar role.
