About the Company:

Our client is a leading entity in Dubai, known for its influential presence and strategic initiatives across the Middle East. The organization is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Head of Corporate Communications and PR to lead both internal and external communication efforts.

Role Overview:

The Head of Corporate Communications and PR will be responsible for managing and executing the overall communication strategy for the organization. This includes leading an internal communications team as well as managing agency relationships. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the Middle East region, be digitally savvy, and must be fluent in Arabic.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement comprehensive corporate communication strategies that enhance the organization's reputation and brand.
  2. Lead and manage an internal communications team, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and objectives.
  3. Oversee external PR efforts, including media relations, crisis communication, and public affairs.
  4. Manage relationships with PR agencies, ensuring effective collaboration and high-quality deliverables.
  5. Create and oversee digital communication strategies, leveraging social media and other digital platforms to engage stakeholders.
  6. Serve as the primary spokesperson for the organization, representing the entity in media interactions and public engagements.
  7. Develop and maintain relationships with key media outlets, industry influencers, and other stakeholders in the Middle East region.
  8. Monitor industry trends and provide strategic counsel to senior leadership on communication issues.
  9. Ensure all communications are culturally relevant and effectively reach Arabic-speaking audiences.

Qualifications:

  1. Minimum of 10 years of experience in corporate communications and PR, with a proven track record in the Middle East region.
  2. Extensive experience leading both internal teams and managing external agencies.
  3. Fluent in Arabic, with exceptional communication skills in both Arabic and English.
  4. Deep understanding of the regional media landscape and cultural nuances.
  5. Digitally savvy, with a strong grasp of social media platforms and digital communication tools.
  6. Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
