Head of Buying - Premium Own Label (Dubai or Remote based)

My client is looking for an outstanding Head of Buying to lead their team in the Middle East.

1. Manage high quality product buying.
2. Influence & challenge OTB creation, managing how to spend OTB.
3. Analyze & interpret sales figures to make good business decisions.
4. Take responsibility for gross margin, stock turn & sell thru.
5. Actively participate in buys, product selection, & quantifying orders.
6. Present the buys to CEO.
7. Work closely with marketing, VM & store teams, supply chain & e-commerce.
8. Demonstrate awareness of trends, global market trends & competitors.
9. Own supplier relationship communication.
10. Actively negotiate with suppliers on stock swaps, RTVs, markdown contribution.
