Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and driven individual to join our team as the Head of Business Applications. In this highly strategic and impactful role, you will lead a team of developers and analysts and be responsible for overseeing the development and maintenance of all applications used within our organization. You will work closely with different departments to ensure our technology solutions align with our business objectives and drive growth.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead a team of developers and analysts to design, develop, and maintain applications that meet the needs of the organization.
2. Collaborate with different departments to understand their business requirements and ensure that our technology solutions align with their needs.
3. Define and implement a technology roadmap and strategic plan for all business applications.
4. Manage the budget and resources allocated to the development and maintenance of applications.
5. Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of all business applications.
6. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in the market, and identify opportunities to implement them within the organization.
7. Oversee the implementation and integration of new applications into the existing IT infrastructure.
8. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and technology partners to ensure the organization has access to the latest and most effective tools.
9. Train and mentor team members to continuously improve their skills and performance.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
2. Proven experience as a Head of Business Applications or similar role, with a track record of successfully delivering and managing applications.
3. In-depth knowledge of application development methodologies and best practices.
4. Strong understanding of business processes and ability to align technology solutions accordingly.
5. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead and effectively manage a team.
6. Experience with software development lifecycle, cloud technologies, and modern enterprise software.
7. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
8. Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
9. Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make data-driven decisions.
10. Knowledge of compliance regulations and security best practices.
