Job Summary:
We are seeking a visionary and results-oriented Head of Advertising Agency to lead our online marketing strategies, leveraging social media and digital channels, alongside overseeing content creation, sales, business development, and team management. You will be responsible for driving growth through innovative marketing campaigns, creating engaging content, expanding our client base, and building a high-performance team. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on management in a fast-paced, creative environment. The ideal candidate will be a highly skilled marketer with a passion for driving digital success and leading a talented team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies across key online channels, including social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok), search engine marketing (SEO & SEM), programmatic advertising, and email marketing.
- Stay on top of digital marketing trends, tools, and platforms, ensuring the agency is ahead of the curve in terms of innovation and campaign effectiveness.
- Work closely with clients to understand their marketing objectives and deliver digital strategies that drive measurable results such as lead generation, conversions, and brand awareness.
Social Media & Content Creation:
- Oversee the creation and execution of high-quality content strategies across all digital channels, ensuring consistency with client branding and voice.
- Lead content creation efforts by developing blog posts, social media posts, videos, infographics, and other types of creative content tailored to target audiences.
- Work with the creative team to ensure that all content aligns with marketing strategies and resonates with the audience while driving engagement and conversions.
Sales & Business Development:
- Lead the sales strategy to drive new business growth, targeting prospective clients through networking, industry events, and direct outreach.
- Develop proposals, pitch strategies, and tailored advertising solutions that meet the needs of potential clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their objectives and delivering campaigns that exceed their expectations.
- Set and monitor sales targets and performance metrics to ensure business development goals are achieved.
- Proactively identify new business opportunities and upsell services to existing clients, contributing to the agency’s growth and profitability.
- Lead, manage, and motivate a diverse team of digital marketers, content creators, social media strategists, and account managers.
- Foster a collaborative, results-driven, and creative work environment that encourages innovation and professional growth.
- Provide coaching, mentorship, and support for team members to help them meet their career goals and improve performance.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, providing constructive feedback and setting clear objectives for team members.
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the digital and creative teams, ensuring deadlines are met, and campaigns are delivered on time and within budget.
Client Relationship Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, providing expert consultation on digital marketing strategies, content creation, and campaign performance.
- Lead client meetings, presentations, and strategy sessions, ensuring clear communication and alignment on goals.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring ongoing satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
- Address client concerns and challenges proactively, ensuring high levels of customer service and client retention.
Campaign Management & Performance Analytics:
- Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of online marketing campaigns to ensure maximum ROI.
- Use analytics and data-driven insights to monitor the performance of campaigns and provide regular reports to clients, making recommendations for improvements.
- Collaborate with the analytics team to track KPIs, conversions, and customer behaviour, ensuring that campaigns deliver strong results.
- Adjust campaign strategies based on performance data and client feedback to continuously improve campaign outcomes.
Budget & Resource Management:
- Oversee the agency’s digital marketing and content creation budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources for maximum impact.
- Manage resource allocation within the team to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Track expenditures and provide budget updates to senior management to ensure financial goals are met.
- Continuously evaluate new digital marketing tools, platforms, and content trends, recommending innovative approaches to enhance campaigns.
- Encourage a culture of experimentation and learning within the team, ensuring the agency stays on top of emerging marketing techniques and content trends.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in digital marketing, social media, and advertising, with at least 4 years in a leadership or management role.
- Content Creation Expertise: Proven experience in content creation for digital platforms, including written, video, and visual content.
- Digital Marketing Expertise: Strong knowledge of digital marketing channels including SEO, SEM, social media marketing, email marketing, and paid digital ads.
- Sales & Business Development: Demonstrated ability to drive sales and business growth, with experience in building client relationships and expanding revenue streams.
- Leadership & Team Management: Experience managing and inspiring a diverse, high-performance team.
- Client Relationship Management: Proven track record in managing high-profile client accounts and delivering exceptional service.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze digital performance metrics and make data-driven decisions to optimize campaigns.
- Creative Vision: Ability to think creatively and strategically to develop engaging content and innovative digital campaigns.
- Project Management: Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with digital marketing tools (Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, etc.) and CRM software.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with both B2B and B2C digital marketing strategies.
- Knowledge of emerging digital marketing trends such as influencer marketing, AI-driven marketing, and automation.
- Experience with integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels (online, offline, and experiential).
