Responsibilities
- Ensuring that all food is prepared to high quality and presentation standards.
- Negotiating contracts and pricing agreements with suppliers and vendors to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.
- Collaborating with the front-of-house team to create innovative and visually appealing menu offerings that meet customer needs and preferences.
- Manage kitchen staff and train them as needed.
Skills
- Effective communication with both kitchen staff and front-of-house staff, as well as with customers.
- Deep understanding of different flavor profiles, ingredient combinations, and food pairings to create unique dishes.
- Clear and concise communication to ensure that all staff members understand their roles and responsibilities.
- Knowledgeable in different cooking techniques, such as grilling, baking, and frying, to cook different dishes to perfection.
