Head Chef

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and creative Head Chef to lead our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all culinary activities, ensuring high-quality food preparation, maintaining kitchen hygiene, and managing kitchen staff efficiently. Key Responsibilities:

2. Oversee the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes, ensuring consistency and excellence.
3. Manage kitchen staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
4. Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
5. Monitor inventory levels and oversee ordering of ingredients and kitchen supplies.
6. Control food costs by minimizing waste and optimizing ingredient usage.
7. Collaborate with the management team to develop new menu items and seasonal specials.
8. Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment.
9. Supervise food plating and presentation to meet restaurant standards.
10. Stay updated with culinary trends and bring innovation to the menu.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a reputed establishment.
2. Strong leadership and team management skills.
3. In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen operations.
4. Creativity in menu planning and food presentation.
5. Experience in a central kitchen environment.
6. Baking experience with a strong understanding of pastry and bread-making techniques.
7. Catering experience, including large-scale meal preparation and event planning.
8. Fresh food experience from the retail industry, ensuring high-quality ingredient selection and preparation.
