It is the first of its kind and is designed to be a beautiful and fun destination for food, entertainment, and activities for the whole family. They are looking to build an experienced and dynamic team to support their operations.
Responsibilities:
Head Barista:
Product Development:
Create, develop and promote new drinks and recipes.
Employee Management:
Train and supervise baristas.
Food Preparation:
Prepare basic snacks such as pastas and sandwiches.
Customer Management:
Greet customers and take orders.
Address and resolve customer complaints.
Prepare and serve coffee and other beverages.
Inventory Management:
Monitor and manage stock levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other ingredients, ensuring proper storage and rotation to maintain freshness.
Quality Management:
Ensure quality control of all beverages.
Follow health and safety regulations.
Ensure quality of service to customers is maintained.
Coffee Preparation:
Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, including espressos, cappuccinos, lattes, and other specialty drinks.
Customer Service:
Greet customers warmly, take orders, and answer any questions regarding the menu, coffee types, and brewing methods.
Equipment Operation:
Operate coffee machines, grinders, and other brewing equipment.
Drink Customization:
Accommodate customer requests for drink modifications, such as milk preferences, flavor syrups, and adjustments to coffee strength.
Cleanliness and Hygiene:
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the coffee station, ensuring that all areas meet health and safety regulations.
Desired Candidate Profile:
Head Barista:
At least 2 years experience as a Barista specializing in specialty coffee, preferably in a restaurant or café setting.
In-depth knowledge of coffee beans, roasting techniques, and brewing methods, with a passion for exploring new flavors and profiles.
Proficiency in operating espresso machines and other coffee brewing equipment, ensuring proper calibration.
Strong customer service skills with a friendly and engaging demeanor, capable of building rapport with guests and delivering personalized service.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to teamwork and a willingness to support colleagues.
Experience in food and beverage preparation or customer service preferred.
At least 1 year experience as Barista or similar role, with exposure in preparing coffee, smoothies, shakes, and juices.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Positive attitude and a passion for coffee and customer service.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
A strong team player with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
Passion for coffee and willingness to learn about different coffee varieties and techniques.
