Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Very presentable and well-groomed.
• Very attentive and able to think on your feet.
• Extremely agile as the job demands speed and efficiency in its execution.

Functional Competencies and Responsibilities:

1. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.
2. Escort guests to rooms.
3. Open doors and assist guests/visitors entering and leaving property.
4. Inform guests of property amenities, services, and hours of operation, and local areas of interest and activities.
5. Identify and explain room features to guests (e.g., use of room key, mini-bar, ice and vending areas, in-room safe, valet laundry services).
6. Transport guest luggage to and from guest rooms and/or designated bell area.
7. Assist with luggage storage and retrieval.
8. Assist guests/visitors in and out of vehicles, including assisting guests with loading/unloading luggage.
9. Supply guests with directions.
10. Arrange transportation (e.g., taxicab, shuttle bus) for guests/visitors, and record advance transportation requests as needed.
11. Communicate parking procedures to guests/visitors.
12. Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents or injuries.
13. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
14. Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets.
15. Support all co-workers and treat them with dignity and respect.
16. Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.
17. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.
18. Assist with moving, lifting, carrying, and placing of objects weighing in excess of 75 pounds.
19. Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift.
20. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces and steps. Move up and down stairs and/or
