What Does a Guest Service Agent Do?

As a Guest Service Agent at Accor Dubai, you will be the face of the hotel, ensuring that each guest's journey is smooth, personalized, and memorable. From welcoming guests upon arrival to handling inquiries and complaints professionally, you will play a central role in guest satisfaction.

What Are the Key Responsibilities?

  1. Welcome guests warmly and handle check-ins and check-outs efficiently
  2. Manage all Front Desk operations including cashiering and foreign exchange
  3. Maintain a well-balanced cashier float and submit accurate financial reports
  4. Ensure guest concerns are resolved promptly and with care
  5. Promote guest loyalty by developing personalized relationships and providing consistent service
  6. Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable front desk area at all times
  7. Assist with hotel information, directions, bookings, and general inquiries
  8. Coordinate with other departments to enhance the guest experience
  9. Contribute to team targets through upselling and cross-selling of services

What Skills Are Needed for a Guest Service Agent in Dubai?

Education and Experience:

  1. Bachelor's degree, diploma, or equivalent certification in hospitality or customer service
  2. Experience in a similar front office or guest relations role in a hotel setting
  3. Knowledge of Opera or related property management systems is highly desirable

Skills:

  1. A service-driven personality with a positive attitude and professional demeanor
  2. Fluent in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus
