Group Finance Director-Investments

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and implement investment strategies that align with the company's long-term financial goals, ensuring optimal asset allocation and risk management.
• Oversee due diligence processes for potential acquisitions and investments, analyzing financial statements and market conditions to make informed decisions.
• Monitor investment performance, providing regular reports and insights to senior management and the board to facilitate strategic planning.
• Collaborate with external partners, including investment banks and financial advisors, to identify new investment opportunities and mitigate risks.
• Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement in investment practices.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies related to investments, minimizing legal and financial risks.
• Establish and manage budgets for the investment department, ensuring efficient use of resources and effective financial forecasting.
• Evaluate and optimize the company’s investment portfolio, regularly assessing market trends and adjusting strategies accordingly.
• Engage in stakeholder communication, clearly articulating investment strategies and performance to both internal and external audiences.
• Drive innovation in investment processes, leveraging technology and data analytics to enhance decision-making and efficiency.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field, with a strong foundation in investment analysis and portfolio management.
• At least 10 years of relevant work experience in finance, with a proven track record in investment management or corporate finance.
• Experience in working with Investments company with multiple industries is Mandatory
• Professional certifications such as CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) or CAIA (Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst) are highly preferred.
• Extensive experience in managing large-scale investment portfolios, demonstrating a deep understanding of market dynamics.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques to assess investment opportunities.
• Exceptional leadership qualities, with the ability to inspire and guide a diverse team towards achieving common financial goals.
• Strong communication skills, with fluency in English and proficiency in additional languages preferred for international dealings.
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, regulators, and partners.
