A glimpse of your typical workday

Financial Reporting & Analysis:

1. Oversee the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
2. Prepare income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements to track company performance.
3. Develop, analyze, and present financial reports to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and trends.
4. Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes.
5. If applicable, ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist in preparing financial data for tax filings.

Internal Controls & Compliance:

1. Maintain a strong control environment by ensuring adherence to internal policies and procedures.
2. Coordinate and support internal and external audits.
3. Ensure compliance with IFRS/GAAP standards and other regulatory requirements.

Cash Flow & Working Capital Management:

1. Manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to support business operations.
2. Develop strategies for cost control and operational efficiencies.
3. Monitor and optimize inventory levels and capital expenditures in line with business objectives.

Process Improvement:

1. Identify and implement improvements in financial systems and processes.
2. Support the implementation of financial software and tools to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency.
3. Promote best practices in financial management and internal controls.

Team Leadership & Collaboration:

1. Manage, mentor, and develop a team of finance professionals.
2. Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Supply Chain, Marketing, Operations) to provide financial insights that support business strategies.
3. Communicate financial performance and forecasts to stakeholders at all levels.

What will make you stand out

1. Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent preferred).
2. 5+ years of hands-on accounting experience.
3. Strong understanding of investment accounting, wealth management reporting, and financial statement preparation.
4. Experience with business accounting, financial oversight, and operational finance.
5. Proficiency in accounting software (Oracle, D365, SAP, or similar) and strong Microsoft Excel knowledge.
6. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
