Graduate Mechanical Engineer (Emirati National)

Description:

1. Produce calculations, specifications and drawings to ensure that technical designs provide appropriate solutions.
2. Provide technical expertise in mechanical engineering to meet project needs.
3. Preparation of technical specifications, reports, schedules, data sheets and deliverables under the supervision of senior staff members.
4. Carry out other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the Line Manager.
5. Ability to prepare designs utilizing BIM/Revit tools to an acceptable industry standard and in accordance with relevant codes, regulations and standards.
6. An understanding and awareness of local regulatory requirements and codes such as DEWA, NFPA, CIBSE, ASHRAE, DM etc.
7. Responsible for all aspects of mechanical engineering design as assigned by Senior Engineering staff.

Qualifications:

1. Must have Relevant degree from recognized university.
2. A minimum of 1 Year Middle East experience working within an International Design Firm, with a focus on Building Services Design.
3. Preferable to have thoughtful knowledge and work experience pipelines, VC, WO, AV, connection Chambers and Pumping Station works.
4. Preferable to have thorough knowledge and experience in the design of infrastructure works.
5. Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and AutoCAD.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
