Roles and Responsibilities

As a Graduate Mechanical Engineer in our Fursa Program, you'll gain hands-on experience in Wet Utilities, contributing to key infrastructure and land development projects in Al Ain. Work alongside expert engineers on road networks, security infrastructure, and sustainable solutions.


What You’ll Do:
  1. Engineering Design & Support – Develop calculations, sketches, and project models.
  2. Technical Application – Apply engineering principles to real-world challenges.
  3. Project Collaboration – Work with multidisciplinary teams & assist in site inspections.
  4. Software Utilization – Use industry tools like AutoCAD & Revit.
  5. Continuous Learning – Grow your skills & drive innovation in engineering.

Who We’re Looking For:

  1. Recent graduates (2024 or 2025) with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
  2. Passionate about infrastructure, utilities, and sustainable engineering solutions.
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  4. Enthusiastic team player with a drive to learn and grow.
  5. Proficient in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools (preferred).

Desired Candidate Profile

1. Technical Engineering Knowledge

  • Understanding of Mechanics: Ability to apply principles of mechanics (statics, dynamics, strength of materials).
  • Thermodynamics: Knowledge of energy systems, heat transfer, and fluid dynamics.
  • Material Science: Understanding the properties of materials used in engineering, such as metals, polymers, and composites.

2. Computer-Aided Design (CAD)

  • Proficiency in CAD software like AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or CATIA to design mechanical components, assemblies, and systems.
  • Ability to create, modify, and analyze 2D and 3D models for manufacturing or testing.

3. Finite Element Analysis (FEA)

  • Ability to use FEA tools (e.g., ANSYS, Abaqus) to simulate and analyze stresses, strains, and thermal distributions in components.

4. Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills

  • Applying engineering principles to troubleshoot, analyze problems, and find solutions for mechanical systems.
  • Ability to conduct root-cause analysis and optimize designs or systems.

5. Mathematics and Physics

  • Strong knowledge of advanced mathematics (calculus, differential equations) and physics, especially mechanics and fluid dynamics.
  • Using these principles to model mechanical systems and analyze real-world engineering problems.

6. Project Management

  • Basic understanding of project management processes, including budgeting, timelines, resource allocation, and risk management.
  • Ability to work within cross-functional teams and contribute to meeting project deadlines and quality standards.
