About the Role

We are seeking an innovative and enthusiastic Graduate Interior Designer to join our dynamic team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a UAE National, you will have the opportunity to contribute your fresh perspective and creative ideas to exciting interior design projects across the region.

  • Assist senior designers in developing interior design concepts and presentations
  • Create 2D and 3D drawings using CAD software and rendering tools
  • Collaborate with team members to produce design solutions that meet client requirements and budget constraints
  • Research and stay updated on the latest interior design trends, materials, and products
  • Participate in client meetings and present design ideas effectively
  • Prepare material boards, color schemes, and furniture layouts
  • Contribute to the development of project documentation and specifications
  • Determine the client’s goals and requirements of the project
  • Consider how the space will be used and how people will move through the space
  • Sketch preliminary design plans, including electrical layouts
  • Specify materials and furnishings, such as lighting, furniture, wall finishes, flooring, and plumbing fixtures
  • Prepare final plans, using computer applications
  • Create a timeline for the interior design project and estimate project costs
  • Place orders for materials and oversee installing the design elements
  • Visit after the project to ensure that the client is satisfied
  • Developing initial ideas and acquiring key information about potential projects, discussing requirements in detail with clients (the brief) and setting project schedules;
  • Understanding clients' needs and the needs of the people using the building, developing design concepts in consultation with the client and establishing final briefs;
  • Considering materials and costs according to set budgets and negotiating project fees;
  • Conducting feasibility studies for projects;
  • Researching and gathering information and photographs relating to the project;
  • Producing 'sample' or 'mood' boards for presentation to clients;
  • Sourcing products, e.g. fittings, furniture, lighting, finishes, decoration and dressing, and providing samples for clients;
  • Working in a team with other designers;
  • Supervising work at the design stage and on site;
  • Working closely with quantity surveyors to establish costs and work schedules on larger projects, with architects and other design professionals to determine the best use of space, and with manufacturers and contractors;
  • Identifying new business and selling services to potential clients;
  • Keeping up to date with new developments in the design industry.
  • Estimate material requirements and costs, and present design to client for approval.
  • Coordinate with other professionals, such as contractors, architects, engineers and plumbers.
  • Plan, design, and furnish interiors of residential, commercial, or industrial buildings.
  • Support the team in managing project timelines and deliverables

What do we need from you

  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field
  • Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD and SketchUp
  • Strong 3D modeling and rendering skills
  • Solid understanding of interior design principles and current trends
  • Excellent artistic and creative abilities
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Keen attention to detail and ability to work in a collaborative environment
  • Knowledge of UAE design aesthetics and cultural preferences
  • Flexibility and enthusiasm to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
  • UAE National with family book is required for this position
