WSP in the Middle East is seeking a talented and passionate Emirati Graduate Engineer (Mechanical/Electrical) to join our team in Sharjah.

This is a fantastic opportunity for recent graduates to start their professional journey with hands-on experience, mentoring, and exposure to exciting projects in various engineering fields.

Your new role, what's involved?

  • Assist in the design, development, and implementation of mechanical/electrical systems and projects.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to analyze and solve technical issues in mechanical/electrical engineering.
  • Participate in the preparation of technical reports, documentation, and project plans.
  • Contribute to the testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of mechanical/electrical equipment and systems.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution and compliance with technical standards.
  • Support the preparation and review of project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Gain exposure to various stages of project development, from conceptual design to final execution.
  • Maintain a focus on safety, quality, and sustainability in all engineering activities.

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering (or related fields).
  • Prior internship or project experience in mechanical or electrical engineering or a related field is preferred, ideally within a similar industry (engineering consultancy, construction, manufacturing, etc.).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in engineering design software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or equivalent).
  • Familiarity with industry standards, safety regulations, and engineering best practices.
  • A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
