Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. Liaise with Survey Engineering Manager / Survey Workshop Supervisor regarding ongoing operational requirements.
2. Assist Base Engineer in setting up computer hardware and installing/troubleshooting and configuring operating systems and other software.
3. Assist with setup, testing, and operation of a variety of survey and positioning systems.
4. Assist with mobilization and operation of positioning and hydrographic survey equipment.
5. Assist with data acquisition and quality control of data in survey and construction vessels.
6. Assist with maintenance of reference stations in Middle East Region.

Qualifications Required

1. Must be a UAE national with a Family Book.
2. Graduate with a bachelor's degree in electrical or electronic engineering.
3. Entry-level to 2 years of experience in a similar field.
4. Experience in setup/commissioning/maintenance of survey sensors/vessel navigation equipment.
5. Experience in fault finding and reporting.
6. Computer literate including networking.
7. An excellent communicator (verbally and written) and able to form good working relationships with clients and colleagues at all levels.
