Graduate Civil Engineer- (Emirati)

To lead and manage the nursing team in the provision of patient-centric and evidence-based nursing care, operational efficiency, and positive patient experiences.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

1. To provide strong leadership and management guidance to the team.
2. To ensure evidence-based patient care practices are followed as per clinical standards.
3. To ensure a positive patient care experience by developing employees and creating an environment for team engagement.
4. To manage allocated clinical and non-clinical resources in a cost-effective and efficient manner to enhance safe patient care.
5. To ensure compliance with legislative, regulatory, and clinical standards to ensure continuous quality improvement.

REQUIRED EDUCATION

Essential: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from a recognised/accredited Nursing Institute.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Essential: At least 5 years’ nursing experience, preferably in a private hospital/clinic.

REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

1. Demonstrate the ability to implement all five (5) stages of the Scientific Nursing Process (assessment, planning, nursing diagnosis, implementation, and evaluation).
2. Application of the nursing scope of practices as stipulated in the regulatory framework.
3. Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office applications.
4. Demonstrate competence in the assessment of all nursing procedures.
5. Demonstrate competence in the application of key clinical equipment used in the clinic.
6. Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of patient care and nursing management.
7. Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of relevant Acts, statutory regulations, and directives, and the application thereof to management of the nursing team/unit.
8. Demonstrate the ability to cost-effectively control expenses.
9. Demonstrates a comprehensive knowledge of all relevant external standards and manage compliance to these standards.
10. Risk management principles, systems, and best practices.
11. Stock control principles and management.
12. Verbal and written communication skills in English.
