About the role:

The Graduate Associate Software Engineer role is an entry-level position within our vibrant software engineering team. You will actively participate in developing and maintaining the technology solutions that will drive the Emirates Group - IT business forward. This is a 2-year graduate program designed to provide you with hands-on experience and development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Engage in the development of scalable software applications and systems.
2. Assist in analysing project requirements and contributing to software design.
3. Write, test, and deploy code, ensuring it meets functional and technical standards.
4. Diagnose and troubleshoot software issues, applying your academic knowledge to real-world systems.
5. Cooperate with experienced engineers and teammates across different disciplines, gaining invaluable industry insights and knowledge.

Qualifications & Experience

To be considered for this role, you must meet the below requirements:

1. A recent graduate in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering.
2. 1+ years of experience gained through exposure to software technologies in coursework or internships, focusing on developing software or testing concepts.
3. Passionate about technology with exposure to software development, testing, and deployment processes.
4. Demonstrable problem-solving skills, ability to work in teams, and excellent communication capabilities.
5. Eagerness to learn and grow within a leading global company, utilising technologies such as .NET, Java/J2EE, Salesforce, ReachJS, Angular, Google Analytics, Cloud Tech, Azure, ERP systems, Mobile development and more.
