Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Global Export Sales Executive to lead our international sales and distribution efforts. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of global trade dynamics, strong leadership capabilities, and a proven track record in expanding market presence across diverse regions. This role is pivotal in driving revenue growth, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations, and fostering robust relationships with global partners.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Market Development
- Develop and implement comprehensive export strategies to penetrate new markets and maximize sales opportunities for chemicals, FIBC bags, and agro products.
- Identify and evaluate potential international distributors, wholesalers, and retail partners to expand the company's distribution network.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes in target markets to inform strategic decision-making.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with international clients, distributors, and retailers.
- Serve as the main point of contact for all export-related queries, ensuring clear and consistent communication with clients.
- Negotiate terms and conditions with international clients, ensuring compliance with export laws and trade regulations.
Export Operations Oversight
- Coordinate and manage international shipments in compliance with import/export regulations and laws.
- Prepare and review shipping documents such as bills of lading, invoices, and packing lists.
- Communicate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and transportation companies for timely delivery.
- Monitor and track shipment status, resolving any issues or delays.
Financial Management and Reporting
- Prepare and manage the export sales budget, ensuring that all activities are executed within allocated financial resources.
- Monitor expenses related to export logistics, marketing, and trade events, ensuring cost efficiency.
- Provide regular reports to senior management on market performance, including sales achievements, customer feedback, and competitive analysis.
Qualifications and Skills
- Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Marketing, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certifications in international trade or export management is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in physical sales, preferably in chemicals, FIBC bags, or agro products. Proven track record of successfully managing and growing international sales in relevant markets.
- Skills:
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- In-depth understanding of international trade regulations, export processes, and logistics.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients from different cultural backgrounds.
- Strong analytical skills to assess market trends and customer needs.
- Fluency in English is required.
