We are looking for a Global Pet Relocations Manager with 5 years + of experience for a pet relocations company in Dubai.
You will be on-ground working with customers, partners, and port officials finishing paperwork and making sure that the customers and their pets are up to date as well as in the office (Work from Home) making calls to potential customer leads and vendors to expand the business network.
Daily tasks:
Gathering all the required information from customers using forms
Closing sales leads and following up with customers
Creating quotation/proposal based on the customers need, handling customer payments and invoicing
Administrative/paperwork for internal tracking and filing
Manage the pet relocation activity from A-Z (completing the necessary paperwork and processes for pets to travel such as dealing with official documents, clearing imported pets from customs, import permits, export health certificates, travel documents, government officials, and airport personnel)
Going to the airport for customs clearance of pets and completing the necessary checklists for transits, imports, and exports
Reuniting imported pets to their families
Maintaining contact with clients prior to their move to answer questions, review vet documents, and schedule pickup and delivery times. Sometimes also visiting client sites to make sure the documentation and pet are compliant
Checking and preparing crates for traveling and ensuring pets safe travel in crates that are comfortable, safe, and fit for their size (export)
Updating clients on the status of their pet relocation, including flight departures, arrivals, delays, and other important move-day information
Working closely with Airport and Ministry of Climate Change & Environment officials
Handling and working with animals first-hand
Skills Needed:
High-level understanding of the pet relocation and pet travel industries with previous experience in a similar role
Experience in dealing with pets first-hand (caring for, handling)
Ability to manage stressful, time-sensitive situations, work well under pressure and adhere to deadlines
Organized with high attention to detail, a problem-solver, and multi-tasker
Outstanding verbal and written English skills
Proficient computer skills as you will be responding to customer inquiries over email and social media, in addition to updating the leads tracker
Presentable and professional since you will be representing Chauf-fur to the outside world (customers and partners)
You will be working both in the office (Work from Home) and in the field (airport, vets, government offices etc) almost 50% of the time
On-demand working hours (anytime 24x7) based on the pet travel schedule (night hours are sometimes applicable)
Living in Dubai
Valid UAE driving license
The successful candidate will be offered a visa, medical insurance, air ticket allowance, and a very strong commission scheme based on target achievement.
