General Surgeon Consultant

Roles and Responsibilities

• Perform laparoscopic surgeries independently, including cholecystectomy, appendectomy, hernioplasty, and other general surgery procedures.
  
• Manage preoperative and postoperative care of patients undergoing laparoscopic surgeries.
  
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists to develop anesthesia plans for complex cases.
  
• Conduct ward rounds regularly to monitor patient progress and provide medical guidance as needed.
  
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient management strategies.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in general surgery after MS/MD degree from a recognized institution.
  
• Strong knowledge of laparoscopic techniques and minimally invasive surgical practices.
  
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  
• Ability to work effectively under pressure during emergency situations while maintaining attention to detail.
