Monitors and provides care of patients presenting to ICU/outpatient clinics/Emergency.
Monitors and provides care of patients admitted in wards.
Examine and talk to patients to diagnose their medical conditions.
Make notes, both as a record of treatment and for referral.
Liaise with other medical and non-medical staff in the hospital to ensure quality treatment.
Work with other doctors as part of a team.
Promote health education among patients.
Organise preventive medical programmes.
Conducts the periodic health program for company executives.
Maintain knowledge of applicable local regulations and requirements.
Developing and maintaining professional quality standards and recommending the improvement of such standards to meet those of the JCI.
Monitoring the quality of medical care provided to patients hospitalized.
Work is performed independently, under the general direction of the Intensivist & other physicians.
Reviews death cases with intensivists and other physicians.
Monitors clinical and other established indicators to ensure ongoing quality assurance.
Strictly observes organization’s medical regulations and policies especially those related to infection control, patient safety, patient assessment and patient care.
Performs other miscellaneous related duties as requested by the head of the department.
QUALIFICATION, LICENSURE, EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SPECIAL SKILLS:
Graduate from an accredited school of Medicine with an MBBS degree.
Minimum of two years experience in the practice as general practitioner post certification.
Current licensure in country of origin and with DOH license to practice in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Must have a thorough knowledge of medical ethics, with particular reference to the obligation to maintain the confidentiality of his work; and adhere to Bylaws, Rules and Regulations of the Medical Organization.
Excellent command of oral and written English. Knowledge of Arabic language is desirable but not essential.
Communication, interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with co-workers, superiors, patients & families.
