General Manager - Supermarket

Leading supermarket is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Supermarket General Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of supermarket operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the retail and supermarket industry, with a proven track record in procurement, inventory management, customer service, and team leadership. Specific expertise in managing meat, poultry, and baked goods categories is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage and oversee daily operations of the supermarket, ensuring high levels of efficiency and service standards.
2. Lead procurement and import activities to maintain optimal stock levels and product quality.
3. Monitor and manage inventory tracking, ensuring accurate records and minimizing waste.
4. Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain positive customer relations.
5. Focus on the development and growth of key categories such as meat, poultry, and baked goods.
6. Train, manage, and motivate a diverse team to achieve performance goals.
7. Develop and implement strategies to improve store profitability and customer satisfaction.
8. Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards.

Requirements:

1. Minimum of 5 years of experience managing operations in a leading local supermarket.
2. Strong expertise in procurement, import management, inventory tracking, and customer service.
3. Specific experience in managing meat, poultry, and baked goods categories is preferred.
4. Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
5. Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment and adapt to changing business needs.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED13,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
