General Manager - Power

Black & Grey HR is recruiting for a diversified group seeking a General Manager for their Power Division based in Dubai UAE. The General Manager will report to the Group CEO and spearhead the Power Division focusing on strategic growth operational excellence and financial performance. This role is central to driving the division s success with a key emphasis on enhancing the distribution and transmission sectors. The ideal candidate will bring a visionary approach to align the division with the group s overarching strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership: Develop and steer the strategic direction of the Power Division aligning with the groups longterm objectives and focusing on significant growth opportunities within the GCC and Africa.

Business Development: Lead initiatives to secure new clients and expand relationships capitalizing on market opportunities to enhance divisional growth.

Operational Oversight: Manage the division s operations to ensure projects are executed efficiently meeting all KPIs customer expectations and contractual obligations.

Financial Management: Oversee financial strategies including budgeting and cost management to maximize profitability.

Productivity Enhancement: Implement methods to boost productivity and resource efficiency elevating operational outputs across the division.

Project Management: Direct a Project Management Office (PMO) to ensure project delivery is timely within budget and meets quality standards.

Client Relations: Maintain robust client relationships ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.

People Management: Mentor and lead the management team cultivating a skilled workforce and fostering a collaborative environment.

Regulatory Compliance & Safety: Ensure all operations adhere to industry regulations and safety standards.

Requirements

Education: Master s degree in Engineering Business Administration or related field.

Experience: At least 20 years in power infrastructure construction with substantial senior leadership experience within the industry.

Skills: Profound knowledge of UAE regulations and market conditions; expertise in project management and largescale operations; proficiency in relevant software and industry standards.

Personal Qualities: Exceptional leadership capabilities; strong strategic financial and stakeholder management skills; excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities; adaptability in a dynamic environment.
