Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager - MEP to oversee our Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing operations. This role requires a strategic leader who can drive project success, optimize processes, and ensure the highest standards of quality and safety in all MEP-related activities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement strategic plans for MEP operations that align with the company’s goals and objectives. Lead, mentor, and manage a team of MEP professionals to ensure high performance and professional growth.
2. Project Management: Oversee the planning, design, and execution of MEP projects from inception to completion. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve any issues and ensure seamless project delivery.
3. Operational Excellence: Establish and enforce MEP standards and best practices to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in operations. Monitor and improve operational processes to enhance productivity and reduce costs. Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
4. Client and Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders. Address client concerns and feedback promptly and professionally. Ensure clear and consistent communication throughout project lifecycles. Develop and manage budgets for MEP projects and operations. Monitor financial performance, control costs, and report on financial metrics.
5. Innovation and Improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulations. Implement innovative solutions to improve MEP systems and processes. Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Plumbing Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PE) is a plus.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in MEP management, with a proven track record of successful project delivery and team leadership.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, design principles, and industry standards.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proven experience in budgeting, financial management, and cost control.
• Outstanding communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead and inspire a team, with a focus on achieving operational excellence.
