Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned General Manager with extensive experience in logistics and a deep understanding of the UAE market. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, developing strategic partnerships, and enhancing our market presence within the logistics sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Business Development:
    - Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the logistics sector.
    - Develop and implement strategic business plans to achieve company objectives and revenue targets.
    - Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  2. Client Relationship Management:
    - Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and partners.
    - Develop and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and sales pitches to potential clients.
    - Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  3. Strategic Partnerships:
    - Identify and establish strategic partnerships to expand business reach and capabilities.
    - Negotiate and manage contracts, agreements, and partnerships to drive business growth.
  4. Market Expansion:
    - Lead initiatives to expand the company's market presence in the UAE.
    - Develop strategies to enter new markets and sectors within the logistics industry.
  5. Performance Monitoring:
    - Set performance targets and monitor progress against goals.
    - Prepare regular reports on business development activities, performance metrics, and market insights.
  6. Team Leadership:
    - Provide leadership and guidance to the business development team.
    - Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and high performance.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. An MBA is preferred. 15 years of experience in business development, with a strong focus on Sales logistics. Proven track record of successfully driving business growth and achieving sales targets in the UAE market. Deep understanding of the logistics industry, including market trends, regulations, and key players in the UAE. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
