Our client, a leading Food distribution company is looking for an experienced General Manager to drive commercial growth, oversee operations, managing profitability and lead a high-performing team.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring financial and commercial performance
  • Develop and execute business strategies for market growth and sustainability
  • Oversee procurement, sales, logistics, warehousing, and finance
  • Balance commodities and brands to optimize profitability
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, suppliers, and stakeholders
  • Lead and develop the team, fostering a productive work environment
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company policies

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a senior management role within food distribution company within the GCC. Experience in frozen food category would be preferred.
  • Strong financial, operational, and strategic planning skills
  • Expertise in sales, marketing, supply chain, and business development
  • Ability to lead teams, manage budgets, and drive performance
  • Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills
