General Manager (Fire & Safety Business)

Position: General Manager

Industry: Fire Fighting, Protection, Safety & Security

Location: Dubai, UAE

Salary: 55 - 65,000 AED + Children Education Allowance + Annual Benefits

Note: Open to GCC experienced / based candidates.

Education & Work Requirement:

1. Graduate in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is a must
2. Minimum 15 years of work exposure such as Fire Fighting Systems, Fire Protection, Fire Pumps, Fire Detection Systems, Emergency Lighting, ICT, ELV Systems and Maintenance.
3. Last 5 years must be on a GM, Director, VP or Business Head position.
4. Must have managed P&L responsibility
5. Must have handled a minimum of 300 Million AED annual revenues

Responsibilities:

1. Supervise the process of seeking new orders by identifying bids for tenders, submitting bids, negotiating and eventually landing projects thus increasing revenue and profits
2. Supervise estimation jobs for accurate bidding and competitiveness
3. Supervise the execution of projects from design, build, erect, install, testing, commissioning, and handing over to achieve execution complying with client specifications
4. Supervise procurement of approved materials to control costs for achieving better profitability
5. Recruitment, selection, and training of staff
6. Ensuring compliance with quality and health standards
