General Manager - Fintech

Our client is a financial brokerage operating in the Middle East, Turkey, and North Africa. They offer a platform for buying, selling, and managing cryptocurrencies. They are looking to appoint a General Manager to help drive the growth of the business across the UAE.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the company or business unit.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to advance the company's mission and objectives.
• Manage financial aspects, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Identify business opportunities, build key customer relationships, and negotiate contracts.
• Manage staffing, including recruiting, hiring, training, and performance evaluation.
• Ensure compliance with all local laws and regulations.
• Develop and execute marketing strategies and sales plans.
• Maintain and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Oversee procurement and supply chain activities to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Identify and manage risks to the company's operations and financial health.
• Monitor product and service quality and ensure adherence to standards.
• Represent the company in public forums and maintain a positive image.
• Manage relationships with stakeholders, including investors, government entities, and community organizations.
• Set goals for departments and individuals and monitor performance against objectives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, or a related field. MBA preferred.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in senior management roles, with proven leadership and managerial skills.
• Experience in Fintech is highly desirable.
