General Manager | Exhibitions & Conferences | Dubai

The General Manager for our client's Middle East business will be responsible for driving business revenue and exploring partnership opportunities to expand the Group’s presence in the Middle East. Our client is headquartered in Singapore.

This role requires a strategic leader with strong business development acumen, a deep understanding of the regional market, and a proven ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement business strategies to increase revenue and market share.
2. Identify and pursue partnership opportunities with relevant stakeholders, including corporate clients, government entities, and industry leaders.
3. Lead and manage the Middle East office operations, ensuring efficient and effective business practices.
4. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and industry influencers.
5. Analyze market trends, competition, and emerging opportunities to inform business decisions. Collaborate with internal teams to develop and execute regional marketing and sales initiatives.
6. Ensure compliance with local regulations and corporate governance standards.
7. Represent the Group at industry events, conferences, and networking engagements.
8. Prepare and present reports on business performance, market opportunities, and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
2. Minimum of 10 years of experience in business development, sales, or general management in the Middle East region.
3. Strong leadership and team management skills.
4. Proven track record in revenue growth and strategic partnerships.
5. In-depth knowledge of the Middle East business landscape and industry trends.
6. Ability to work independently and drive results in a dynamic business environment.
