Position Overview

Our client, a prestigious luxury developer, is seeking an accomplished and visionary General Manager or CEO to lead its fitout contracting division. The role is based in Dubai and focuses on delivering world-class fitout services across ultra-luxury residential and commercial developments. This individual will oversee strategic planning, project execution, and operational excellence, ensuring that projects meet the highest standards of quality, timeliness, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

1. Leadership and Strategy: Define and execute the company's strategic vision, goals, and growth trajectory for the fitout division. Collaborate closely with senior leadership in the development arm to align objectives and achieve business success.
2. Operations Management: Lead, monitor, and enhance all operational functions, from project planning and design coordination to on-site management and quality control. Drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
3. Financial Management: Oversee budgeting, financial forecasting, and reporting. Ensure profitability and control costs while maintaining the quality standards expected in ultra-luxury developments.
4. Client Relations and Business Development: Develop and maintain strong relationships with high-profile clients, architects, and consultants. Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company's client base and project portfolio within the luxury sector.
5. Project Execution: Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to an exceptional standard of finish. Resolve any project-related issues and drive efficient resource allocation to meet deadlines without compromising quality.
6. Team Development: Build, mentor, and motivate a high-performance team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and excellence. Promote career development and provide training opportunities to strengthen the team's capabilities.

Qualifications and Experience

1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Advanced degree (MBA or Master's) is advantageous.
2. Minimum 15 years of experience in the fitout industry, with a proven track record in managing high-end luxury projects in the UAE.
3. Strong leadership skills with experience in a General Manager or CEO role within the UAE or GCC.
4. Deep understanding of ultra-luxury standards, interior fitout processes, and high-level client relationship management.
5. Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with a strategic mindset and ability to drive results.
